Rebuilt as the Tanzanite Five-Stone Bangle, May 2025. Available now.
We made this bangle in November 2023: five mixed-shape stones — emerald, purple sapphire, iolite, Swiss blue topaz, pink tourmaline — flush-set into a 21.71g cuff of 14K yellow gold.
It didn't find its person in that form. Multicolor is a harder ask than it looks; the piece asks the wearer to commit to five decisions at once, and for eighteen months nobody wanted all five.
In May 2025 we took it back to the bench and rebuilt it in a single stone. The gold is the same body — 21.71g before, 21.8g after resetting. What changed is that five colors became one: five mixed-cut tanzanites, 6.00ct total, flush-set into the same five positions the original stones occupied.
The five original stones remain at the bench, unset. Nothing was lost in the change — they are waiting for the piece that wants them.
