The rarer finds pass through the one of a kind rings and are gone when they sell.

Rings live the hardest life in the jewelry box, so know your stone. Diamond at 10 on the Mohs hardness scale and sapphire at 9 take everything a day throws at them. Emerald, aquamarine, morganite and topaz sit at 7.5 to 8, tourmaline at 7 to 7.5, amethyst, peridot and the garnets near 7. Fire opal, labradorite, lapis, malachite and coral are evening stones; take them off before the garden and the gym. Warm water, mild soap, and a soft cloth clean all of them; the softer stones and anything treated stay out of ultrasonic cleaners.
