Emeralds, Zambian among them. Sapphire from blush pink to deep orange, in tennis necklaces and statement earrings. Coral carved by hand. Diamond tennis lines and bangles. Some stones only come around once.
By private appointment in Newport Beach, or on a video call. We will walk you through the stone and how the piece was made.
Where do the natural stones come from?
From the same dealers who supply the great jewelry houses, through forty years of relationships. Ask about any piece and we will tell you what we know of its origin.
Are any diamonds here man-made?
A few, and each title says so. Man-made lab-grown diamonds are named in the title and the description.
Are the emeralds treated?
Most emeralds are. Clarity enhancement with oil is the accepted standard for the species. Emerald sits at 7.5 to 8 on the Mohs scale. Care is simple: warm water, mild soap, a soft cloth, no ultrasonic.
What if a piece has already sold?
Ask us. We can design something similar, starting from a stone you choose.
