We're so honored to have been featured in JCK Magazine's June 10, 2026 feature— one of the most respected voices in the jewelry industry — and we wanted to share a little more of the story behind the story.
People often ask how a tech entrepreneur ends up building a fine jewelry house. Honestly? The jewelry was always there. I just had to take the long way around to get back to it.
My love for colored gemstones started at home, watching my mother Valaree build a collection with the kind of discernment that only comes from decades of knowing what's extraordinary.
Two decades in tech sharpened something different in me — pattern recognition, building from nothing, finding the right solution for the right person. It turns out those skills translate perfectly to jewelry. Every client who walks into our atelier brings a story. Our job is to listen, and then find — or create — the piece that carries it forward.
Elyzian began the way the best things do. My mother and I finally stopped talking about it and just built it; my first name, her middle name, Anne.
Right now, we're especially proud of the Poisson Pendant collection, which launched June 1 to mark the start of Ocean Action Month. Each pendant is hand-carved from a single piece of colored gemstone, the sections of the fish's body connected by 14k yellow gold links so it actually articulates and moves. They're extraordinary little creatures. We're donating $500 from every Poisson Pendant sold to Oceana, whose conservation work we believe in deeply.
Jewelry comes from love. So does everything else worth doing.
Meet the Poisson Pendants. One hundred in total, each one carved from a single stone, no two alike.
