Where It All Begins: The Spark of Inspiration
It all started with a vision. Our client adored the unique color of our Green Anemone Ring and wanted a piece inspired by its soft, verdant beauty. With that as our guiding light, we carefully sourced a selection of mint tourmalines. Each stone had its own story, its own personality, but one stood out as the one. It was love at first sight—and the perfect foundation for her custom creation.
Designing Dreams: The CAD Magic
From there, our master jeweler got to work. Using cutting-edge CAD technology, we designed a ring that wasn’t just beautiful, but also tailored to our client’s wishes. She wanted a piece that could be worn in either direction on her finger—a versatile design that’s as bold and dynamic as she is. In her words, she wanted a BAD ASS PINKY. In this stage, we visualized every detail: the proportions of the stone, the placement of diamonds, the golden curves that would wrap gracefully around her finger. Every angle, every curve, every sparkle was considered.
From Wax to Wonder
Before committing to the final design, we brought it to life through wax casting. This hands-on step allowed our client to try on her ring, explore the options, and select her favorite from multiple variations. The process is tactile, personal, and—dare we say—magical. It’s where imagination starts to feel real.
The Final Masterpiece
The end result? A breathtaking wrap-style ring in 14k gold, accented with diamonds, and crowned with the dazzling mint tourmaline that started it all. It’s a ring that’s not only visually stunning but also steeped in meaning—a true testament to her individuality and style.
